Dear UAF students, staff and faculty,
As we come to the end of this memorable year, I want to acknowledge and congratulate
each one of you for your determination and commitment to yourself and the UAF community.
You have been innovative in developing solutions to the ongoing challenges of the
COVID-19 pandemic for yourself and others. Every day I see evidence of the care you
have for the people around you as you advanced your academic progress.
I want to extend special congratulations to theÌýstudents graduatingÌýthis Saturday, and to theÌýemeriti,Ìýhonorary degree, and Usibelli Award and Meritorious Service Award recipientsÌýwe are honoring this week.
This year’s graduates are being celebrated during our 100th commencement in a variety
of ways. Be sure to bookmark the commencement website so you can stay up to date. Here’s a quick rundown:
