October Rural Staff Spotlight: Mikayla Miller
Mikayla Miller serves as the library youth services coordinator at the Kuskokwim ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
Mikayla consistently goes above and beyond in her job duties. She does work exceeding what is expected for her position, and as a result of her hard work the quality of our library programs and services has increased dramatically. She works hard to improve services at the library, and is also very proactive in helping the Kuskokwim ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø by being a team player on committees, such as the campus events committee, and is always willing to help out the campus. She completed her Master's in Library and Information Science last year and continuously uses what she learned to bring creative ideas to her job. Her efforts contributed tremendously to the library receiving the National Medal for Museum and Library Service in 2023.
